Students will use modeling paste to create 3D effects using oils and acrylic paints. Paintings take on an extra dimensional quality. For example it is great for fences, stucco buildings, flowers, clothing and much more! Many pictures to choose from. Come join the fun and learn something new!

June 12 & 13 ( Fri. and Sat.) 10am til 4pm

In this two day workshop, students will learn the techniques of creating dramatic art while learning to use scratchboard tools At least one picture will be completed in your choice of animals, landscapes, portraits and more). A great medium to recreate prints and cards to sell or give as gifts! No experience necessary….

2 Day Plein Aire Painting June 27 and 28th 10 to 4
This two day workshop will be held at Three Creeks, by the waterfall! (Between Lake Lure and Old Fort) A wonderful setting in which to paint…Listening to the rushing water and enjoying the friendship of other painters. Bring your medium of choice and other supplies and take home a painting you’ve created working from life! A light lunch will be furnished too….
Only $65 for 2 days! No Supplies? I’ll furnish them for $15 more.

1 Day Plein Aire Painting July 7th from 10 til 5
To be held at the beautiful Creston lodge, with beautiful mountain views to paint! Off Hwy 9 just outside of Black Mountain NC. There is a roof overhead, a refrigerator and restrooms available.
Bring your medium of choice, your lunch and supplies. There is no substitute for painting outdoors! Take home a painting you can be proud of, with the help of Instructor, Lorelle Bacon!
Only $50 if you bring your own supplies and $60 if I furnish them.
